Veteran's Day Balloon Release

On Monday, November 12th Glendo k-12 students with help from our local auxilliary released balloons in honor of our Veterans. Pieces of paper with the name of a Veteran and what branch of service they served in were attached to the balloons and coded with a specific color.

Red: for service men and women wounded in service of their county.

White: for all who served their county and families but who are no longer with us.

Blue: for all who are are still in service to our county.

Black: for those who paid the highest price for their country – the ones who didn’t make it home.

Gold: for all who served their country and are still here today.
